My formative years during HS were, to say the least, adventurous. My memories are many and the experiences even more. The friends I made and those I lost, were close to my heart, and I remember them often, especially my Friend Ludim Resendez, who I visit whenever I am in Brownsville, as well as my friend Edna, who was killed tragically, while we were having our marching practice one morning and and she was hit by another vehicle as she crossed the street. Many others have left us, if anyone knows of any others, please post. The support and mentoring I received from my HS Band Director, Allen Clark, rivaled any other Instructor. Band has been and always will be one of my greatest achievements in terms of my younger years. I learned so much about Leadership, Patience, and above all Loyalty. My life is Fulfilled and a Constant wheel of activity. Between the Business and my Husband and our Families here in "El Valle" I wouldn't trade it for the world.
